Phicap and Amirato come together

Two Brussels-based companies active in the real estate domain have announced that they are merging. Real estate management company Phicap, based in the uptown district close to the Toison d’Or, and Amirato, a real estate and construction advisory bureau whose offices are in Woluwe, are to come together through Phicap taking over 100% of Amirato.

The companies point out that this operation is a good match, and that they have been working closely together on certain dossiers for some time. The complementary nature of the marriage comes in the fact that Phicap essentially works for private corporate clients and family offices, while Amirato is active in the public sector and institutional domain.

In the early stages at least, the two companies will continue to operate under their current names. The founders of Amirato – Martine Forget and Guy Smol – will stay with the company for three years in order to ensure a smooth transition. Phicap Managing Director Michael Goldberg (photo) speaks of his company’s entrepreneurial spirit and client-oriented culture and comments: “We share the same values and vision of the profession as Amirato. I am very proud of this acquisition which holds out the promise of further growth for our common activities.” Martine Forget adds that it is time to give way to the young generation and Guy Smol believes that the operation constitutes a real opportunity for developing the company’s activities.
