Mixed portfolio sale

One of the first transactions of the year involves the sale of the major part of the portfolio of UK REIT Hansteen Holdings. Knight Frank Belgium advised the company in the sale of assets held by the companies Arman BO, IPI Nossegem, and Waterloo Investments.

The assets involved are as follows:
Naninne, rue des Phlox 1-7, a mixed-use property representing a total area of around 7,000 m², Asse, Poverstraat 208, a semi-industrial property of around 2,000 m², Heist-op-den-Berg, a semi-industrial property of around 6,500 m², Kontich, Neerveld 9, a semi-industrial property representing an area of approximately 5,600 m². The two remaining assets are Mechelen, Hanswijkdries 80, a semi-industrial property of around 1,600 m² and Nossegem, Leuvensesteenweg 64, an office building of around 3,100 m².

The investor is a private Belgian investor. Christian Karkan, head-of Capital markets Belux comments on both the sale and the market in general: “The appetite for semi-industrial and logistic properties is substantial and also attracts private investors. In this particular transaction the strong occupation rate and spread of risks amongst various locations were the key elements.”
