Final piece of 'Au Fil des Grands Prés' sold

Developer Atenor has reached an agreement with regional public transport company TEC Hainaut for the sale of the last remaining office building at the Au Fil des Grands Prs project in Mons. The scheme dates back to August 2012 when Atenor acquired two parcels of land alongside the future Calatrava station district, near the centre of Mons. The construction work on a new sustainable neighbourhood including residential units, offices and local shops then began in 2015.

Au Fil Des Grands Prs is located opposite the Grands Prs shopping centre and forms part (along with this centre and the new railway station) of a significant upgrading of the historic town. The project is divided into two phases. Phase one started in 2015 with the construction of 266 residential units. Phase two will be allocated to the development of around 350 residential units and over 14,000m of offices and local shops.

Au Fil Des Grands Prs has been conceived with sustainability as a central element, with particular emphasis placed on strict comfort and energy-saving criteria. The office part of the project will meet NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) requirements. The sale just announced involves the last lot of the project (Lot 02) and represents a floor area of 3,066m whose permit, having passed the necessary enquiries, was issued by the Walloon Region authorities on 20 November 2019. This new agreement completes the sale of the entire project to investors.
