Spryg turns to logistics

For the latest in its series of real estate seminars, Spryg is to concentrate on logistics during an event to be held at Horta, Antwerp, on June 7th. Logistics is one of the real estate sectors to be very much in the limelight in Belgium, as the country is considered to be strategically very well located at the heart of a huge catchment potential in terms of consumers. Along with the Antwerp-Ghent-Brussels ‘golden triangle’, there is substantial activity further to the east, both in and around Liège, and in Limburg. Huge developments in this area such as Trilogiport, just outside Liège and close to Maastricht, confirm this.

Topics to be covered include logistics locations and developments, opportunities in mainports, the future for existing heritage and the impact of the new international accounting rules. A case study on Ford Genk is also scheduled.

To talk about this subject, Spryg has attracted a number of top rated orators, including, notably, Walter Goossens of broker and advisor JLL, Tamás Polster of Cushman & Wakefield, and a number of those most affected – logistics operators.
