Environmental award for Greenbizz

The Greenbizz company production building/incubator on the Tour & Taxis site in Brussels, has won a ‘Publica Award’. These awards, given by construction publications ‘La Chronique’ and ‘Bouwkroniek’, recognise public players and their partners whose projects stand out for their contribution to sustainable development through three pillars: their social, environmental and economic aspects.

Greenbizz, a citydev.brussels development, has been honoured in the ‘Most sustainable public development’ category. This category takes into account the innovative nature of the project, its lifetime costs and the know-how of the project manager.

Greenbizz was officially opened a year ago, as a passive building with exceptional architecture, providing a convivial atmosphere for the young companies which occupy it. Greenbizz comprises 5,500 m² divided into 17 light production units of 120 to 550 m², designed to be extremely flexible. This enables the young companies to take more space as they grow. There is also an incubator area totalling 2,800 m².
