Realty - the final figures

Organisers Artexis Easyfairs have released some figures concerning the Realty show held in the middle of May.

There were a total of 115 exhibitors and just about 6,700 visitors at the 3-day show. Where international investors are concerned, an important target for the organisers, some 250 came to see what is on offer in Belgium. Another important factor for an event such as this is the social media domain, and this was also more than satisfying with 87,000 views on Twitter.

Realty also attracted some high profile personalities from Belgium and abroad, including the Mayors of Brussels, Liège and Mechelen, along with Pittsburgh (USA). The high profile UPSI conference (one of 14 major conferences to take place) featured a presentation by the CEO of the vast Hafen City project in Hamburg.

Realty Director Mathieu Van Marcke spoke of this being a classic real estate platform, with a format which has to remain but also be expanded. Realty 2018 will be a real community event, he went on to say.
