The decorative paints division of AkzoNobel has moved its Belgian offices from their own site on the Gustaaf Levisstraat to Everest Office Park, Leuvensesteenweg 248B, both in Vilvoorde. The new premises at Everest Office Park for approximately 2.500 m² also include a technical support, lab and training area. Nearly 200 employees have moved to a more efficient, pleasant and modern work environment. CBRE Workspace department coordinated the fit out works.
AkzoNobel is a leading global paints and coatings company and a major producer of specialty chemicals. They are headquartered in Amsterdam and have approximately 45,000 employees in around 80 countries. Their brands include Dulux, Sikkens, International, Interpon and Eka.
The sale of the former site at the corner of the Gustaaf Levisstraat 2 and Leuvensesteenweg was also mandated to CBRE. It is located in a multifunctional residential zoning and benefits from an excellent accessibility from the E19 and the Brussels ring through the Woluwelaan. The site of circa 9,300 m² comprises an office building of 6,500 m² and neighboring land/parking lot of 3,700 m². The building can be re-used as office space or the site can be redeveloped.
