New CEO at Arcadis

Environmental and construction specialist Arcadis has announced that Kristof Pepersraete has been named as its new Chief Executive Officer for Belgium. This follows the departure of the previous CEO, Luc Hellemans, who has moved to a position within BAM, the mobility department of the city of Antwerp.

Kristof Pepersraete first joined Arcadis in 1998 and helped in the launch of the Environment Business Unit, which now holds a strong position on the Belgian market. In 2014 he was appointed European Market Sector Leader for the Manufacturing & Technology sector, looking after Belgium, France, Spain and Italy. He has been a director of the company since 2008.

Speaking of his new role, Kristof Pepersraete said: “I am very proud to be at the head of a team of 750 in Belgium. My main priority is to ensure our clients’ success by helping them with effective, innovative and sustainable solutions in the domin of infrastructure, buildings, water and the environment”.
