Major E 313 logistics transaction

A major transaction in the semi-industrial domain has been announced by JLL, who acted for the seller. The Neovia site, located close to the junction of the E 313 and the E 314 at Lummen, has been sold by Neovia Logistics (formerly Caterpillar Logistics) to Futurn Vestra. Several candidates had been interested in the site, which was used by Neovia for the logistics activities of Mobis until the middle of 2016.

The site extends to 11 hectares and includes a 55,000 m˛ logistics building. Futurn Vestra is to redevelop the complex into a modern business park for logistics activities and SME’s.

Speaking of the transaction and what it represents, Walter Goossens, Head of Industrial and Logistics leasing at JLL, said: “This large scale transaction once again demonstrates the growing interest of companies and investors for good locations along the E 313 axis to the East of Antwerp”.
