Major residential conversion on Bld. de la Woluwe

Eaglestone has been giving some details of its latest residential project. Named ‘Elyx’, this is the reconversion of a former office building located at 60 Boulevard de la Woluwe.

Eaglestone acquired the building from Axa last year, and once the relevant permits had been obtained at the beginning of this year, immediately proceeded with the demolition. The architect for the new residential building is Axent. The upper floors will all be residential, with a ground floor used for small independent businesses. Delivery is scheduled for mid 2020.

Where the accommodation is concerned, there will be a total of 55 units, split as follows: 5 studios of 46m² to 66 m², 18 1-bed apartments ranging from 71 m² to 89 m², 19 2-bed apartments (97 m² to 137 m²) and 12 3-bed apartments (124 m² to 161 m²). There will also be one 4-bed apartment of 193 m². The accommodation benefits from its proximity to the Parc Malou (it is just opposite) and to the Woluwe Shopping Centre a little further down the boulevard. This zone is also served by public transport, and the entrance to the E 40 is only a couple of minutes’ drive.

Eaglestone CEO Nicolas Orts comments: “The first reservations confirm our vision and the positive impact that urban rehabilitation policy of the Brussels Region and the communes involved can have. Giving the large boulevards back to inhabitants is one of the strategies of Eaglestone”.
