City transformation seminar in Antwerp



Management Productions are to hold another major seminar on March 31st in the Van der Valk Business Center, Antwerp. This will bring together 80 final deciders to reflect on the ‘City Transformation Programme’ and the new projects and opportunities this gives rise to. The experts will in particular be talking about energy-neutral and accessible cities. How does development have to be handled with relation to mobility, and what is the role of the government? The city transformation, the organisers point out, involves communicating with city-dwellers, companies.

Jo de Wolf of Montea speaks of retail needing to adapt to the notion of consumer as king, wanting to have shorter delivery times, and of retail and e-trade needing to work hand in hand. New technologies, in particular the Internet of Things, will of course play a part in all this.
