Herentals EDC for Remy

A new transaction to establish a European Distribution Centre was recently concluded by broker JLL. Acting for car parts manufacturer and distributor Remy (starter motors, alternators, brake equipment…), JLL successfully proposed a building at Herentals owned by Heylen Warehouses. Set to open next month, the EDC (supplied turnkey) is thus well located on the E 313 Antwerp-Hasselt motorway in the Wolfstee industrial zone.

The premises themselves comprise just under 8,500 m² of warehousing space, a 650 m² mezzanine and a little under 1,000 m² of offices. They were previously occupied by swimming pool compartments manufacturer Pentair Water.

Remy has a presence in Belgium, Germany, Hungary, the UK, Mexico, China, India and Tunisia. It is owned by American risk capital enterprise Torque Capital.
