'The Platinum' sold

The most recent of the large office buildings to be constructed on the Avenue Louise has changed hands. ‘The Platinum’, a rebuild of the former Bayer building, was completed around 15 years ago, and has been acquired (via the company which owned it – Valim sa) by Real IS. Real estate broker JLL advised sellers GLL RE Partners (the owners of Valim) in this transaction.

The Platinum is 100% let to a number of tenants, and extends to around 24,000 m² spread across large floor plates of 1,500 m² to 1,860 m².

This building accommodates traditional offices and since a short while ago, a ‘Silversquare’ co-working centre. This represents the 3rd Silversquare centre on the Avenue Louise, the 6th centre in the capital, and the 4th to arise from the strategic partnership between the co-working operator and developer Befimmo.

Vincent Van Brée, Head of Office Capital Markets Belux and Quentin Bugli, Director Capital Markets at JLL, comment on the sale: “Having carried out a call for tenders, we were able to advise GLL RE Partners in their search for the best partner to bring this transaction to a successful conclusion. We had to identify an acquiring partner capable of managing this exceptional building as GLL had successfully done over many years.”
