Post X Antwerp in hands of AG Real Estate

The ‘Post X’ office complex alongside the Singel at Berchem (Antwerp) has been very much in the news for a number of years as it has grown into an attractive business destination.

There has now been a major transaction, with all seven buildings making up the complex moving into the ownership of AG Real Estate. The company has just announced that in order to acquire the entire complex, it has completed the acquisition of the nine companies which own the seven buildings. This urban campus, as AG calls it, features a diversified programme comprising 61,000 m² of office space, 4,200 m² of local shops, a sports hall and a 142-room hotel operated by Park Inn by Radisson.

Where access is concerned, Post X is right next to Berchem-Antwerp railway station, the last stop before Antwerp Central, and served by many lines. The complex is also well served by local facilities including cafés and restaurants, and the centre of Antwerp is not very far away.

AG Real Estate goes on to point out that it is very active in Antwerp, the second largest real estate market in Belgium. This latest investment follows that made back in 2014 when the company invested in the Kievitplein, a mixed development of 130,000 m². AG Real Estate talks of its ‘determination to heighten its presence on the Antwerp real estate market’.
