Call for tenders at Delta Brussels district

The latest call for tenders from Brussels bouwmeester (Master Architect) Kristiaan Borret involves a project at one of the most highly visible districts of the city. This is Delta, the entrance to Brussels from the E 411, and which has been very much in the news over recent years as, among others, a potential second hub for the European Union. The very large new Brussels Chirec hospital has also been constructed alongside this site.

This time the project on offer is largely residential and involves a plot of land between Delta and the ULB/VUB campus. The owner is Unibra – Thomas& Piron Bâtiment, and the project is of very large size. There will be a mixed use podium unit and a tower, with a total surface area of between 25,000 m² and 50,000 m². The mixed use element of the project may include, along with the housing, shops, cafes and restaurants, a hotel, a cinema, offices, a sports hall.

The bouwmeester is looking for an architectural vision for this site, and further details can be found by contacting his office.
