More residential development for Namur

The ground-breaking ceremony for another major district-scale development in the Namur region took place at the end of last week. The residential project is located at Erpent, just outside of the city of Namur.

The project, under the name of ‘Plateau d’Erpent’ is being developed by a partnership of Immobel, Thomas & Piron Home and Thomas & Piron Bâtiment. In the first phase it will see four buildings with a total of 142 apartments, along with 30 houses.

Speaking of the choice of location, Olivier Xhonneux, Head of Landbanking at Immobel, comments: “A genuine village at the entrance to the city, Erpent is one of the most sought-after communes on the Namur periphery. The development of the Plateau d’Erpent district will respond to this growing demand and enable new inhabitants to come and live close to Namur in a peaceful, comfortable and sustainable setting”.

Namur has been the choice for a number of residential developments over recent times, and in particular the 'Port du Bon Dieu' from Atenor and Aquilis from Eaglestone.
