ATENOR in first Flanders move
ATENOR, which is active in Brussels and Wallonia along with a handful of other countries in Europe, has made its first move into Flanders. The developer has signed, in a 50/50 partnership with 3D Real Estate, an agreement to acquire all the shares of the company Dossche Immo SA, owner of a 2.14 ha site located in the centre of Deinze, along the river Lys.
The city of Deinze, following its amalgamation with Nevele, now has a population of nearly 45,000 inhabitants. It lies in the Bruges, Courtrai, Ghent triangle, on the Courtrai-Waregem-Ghent axis, in a booming economic area. The site is located in the city centre, near the station, in the Toolpoort shopping, and enjoys excellent accessibility, both by public transport and major roads
The urban planning stipulations allow for a mixed urban project of 32,151 m² and should enable the project to quickly get off the ground. In dialogue with the city of Deinze, 3D Real Estate and ATENOR say they plan to develop a high-quality project to meet the expectations of the city and its inhabitants.
This first investment of the year fits in with both of the developers’ know-how, in the domain of developing major urban projects, thereby working to adapt the urban fabric to the new living and working requirements in urban environments.
