Phicap makes second acquisition

We recently reported that property management company Phicap, acting for all types of enterprises and family offices, had acquired Amirato. It has now just been announced that Phicap has been on the acquisition trail again, this time buying Sogesmaint, the property management arm of the CFE group.

Sogesmaint was set up by CFE six years ago and currently handles all the property and facility management activities of the company in Belgium. The creation followed the merger between Sogesmaint group and CBRE. Following this latest acquisition, the CFE group in effect outsources its property management activities to the new Phicap-Sogesmaint company, while Phicap gains further experience in the domain and improves its outlook within property management. With Amirato and Sogesmaint, Phicap now has a team of 32 persons and turns over around 3.5 million Euros. The personnel of Sogesmaint will join the existing Phicap team in its offices on the Toison d’Or in Brussels, but will in the first instance continue to operate under its own name.

Commenting on his company’s latest move, Michael Goldberg, Managing Director of Phicap said: “This acquisition confirms our positioning as a global player in quality real estate services.”
