AGENDA

REVITALIZATION & RECONVERSION OF THE HISTORIC FABRIC in WALLONIA

The scheduled end of urban sprawl is playing havoc with the fundamentals of the new-build market and paving the way for the advent of that of renovation 2.0, with circularity as an inevitable consequence. With decarbonization in the sights, what will be the result for processes, costs and financing within the various segments of the real estate industry?

The real estate seminar organised by the 'Cercle de Wallonie' will focus on :
- the costs of demolition-reconstruction versus renovation
- costs allied to the circularity of materials used for construction
- challenges of energy optimization, particularly for public buildings
- reconversion of hospital sites
- reconversion of abandoned industrial sites
- how to reconcile energy requirements and architectural creativity
- reconversion of deconsecrated religious buildings
- renovation and reconversion of business parks into mixed use, sustainable connected and integrated living districts

REALTY

Organised by Easyfairs

The concept of the Realty Summit changed in 2019: there was more focus on content and the networking aspect was limited to a select audience of 2000 real estate professionals (developers, investors, architects, real estate advisers and experts, lawyers ..) . The two modified edition were a great success, so the organizer Artexis will continue this momentum. For the 2023 edition, the event will again being hosted in the Gare Maritimen rehabilitated historical building of the Tour & Taxis site. The mainstreal theme this year : "How will we live in 20250 ?". A program of 20 conferences on hot topics is at the summit's agenda.
