Residential conversion for Twin House

An iconic office complex in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert has been acquired by developer Eaglestone. With an official address on the Rue Neerveld, the complex is nevertheless effectively part of the office building stock of the Boulevard de la Woluwe. Known as Twin House, this dual building has a total surface area of 16,615 m² spread between the two buildings (9,300 m² and 7,315 m²) and across seven levels. There are also 200 parking spaces. All of building A and part of building B are occupied until the end of this year by media company Telenet. The departure of Telenet will signal the beginning of a conversion project – a domain which is Eaglestone’s speciality – turning it in to a residential complex with some services and offices. The renovation/reconstruction programme is scheduled to be carbon neutral, with the existing structure being retained. Eaglestone CEO Nicolas Orts comments: “This is our third project of this type in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert in five years, following Elyx (55 apartments and two offices) and the redevelopment currently underway of The W (136 apartments).” The total investment for this project is around 55 million Euros including transformation, and following discussions with the local authorities it is hoped that the works can be completed during 2024. This part of Brussels is well located with the Woluwe and Cora shopping centres close by, good public transport and easy access to the Ring and to the airport.
