Developer Eaglestone has mandated Assar Architects to develop the ‘Prism’ office building at the Cloche d’Or (Gasperich) in Luxembourg. Located at 404/406, route d’Esch, this 4.750m² totally office building will see six floors available for rent, offering future occupants surface areas varying from 370m² to 1,050m².

The design concept for the interior has been conceived by Assar Architects to be flexible, enabling future tenants to lay out the floors in a manner optimal to their own needs. The facades comprise architectonic concrete with anodized aluminium window frames. A water feature at the set back reception level greets visitors to the building. With an expectation of obtaining BREEAM Excellent certification, in particular through responding to the latest standards in terms of energy consumption, the building is scheduled to be delivered in 2022.

The Cloche d’Or district began to develop as a living and business district as recently as the beginning of this century. It forms part of the strategy of the Luxembourg City and national authorities to extend the city towards the south. The most visible of the latest developments was the opening of the Cloche d’Or shopping centre around a year ago, with more than a hundred shops. The authorities expect that by 2025, some 25,000 persons will live in the district, which will be made up of 30% residential accommodation, 55% offices and 15% retailing.
