Patrick Junius heads C&W Design+Build

WORKPLACE
Tim Harrup

Patrick Junius has been appointed to the position of Head of Design+Build for real estate advisor Cushman & Wakefield. He will be responsible for the operational and financial performance of C&W Design+Build business in Belgium and Luxembourg. His career prior to Cushman & Wakefield includes serving 17 years at Ahrend, a leading name in Belgian workplace design and workspaces’ creation.

This move comes around three years after the acquisition by C&W of the former ADMOS company, thus adding an in-house design & build capability to the firm’s existing range of services (which include Agency, Asset Services, Capital Markets, Development, Occupier Services and Valuation & Advisory). At the time of the acquisition, Cushman & Wakefield did not have an officialized presence in the Design & Build segment, which was being served by some of its competitors, including Colliers international, CBRE and JLL. Internationally, the firm has been making sure that this service is always offered under the same name of ‘C&W Design + Build’ for more comprehension by clients.

Koen Nevens, Cushman & Wakefield Country Head, comments on the new appointment: “I am delighted that Patrick Junius took this position as new head of C&W Design+Build. In his role and with his long experience, Patrick will reinforce synergies within our different departments, both internationally and locally, to reinforce our market leading position in Belgium and Luxembourg. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, we developed a full range of new services to create a safe and innovative workplace environment in a post-COVID landscape. Thanks to the collaboration with our international teams and our experts in workplace strategy, C&W Design+Build will help companies to define their future-proof way of working with a focus on well-being, in order to attract and retain the best talents in these challenging times”.
