An office transaction has taken place which does not fit into any of the traditional business district categories. Immobel has just announced that it has sold ‘The Woods’ to a family office. The Woods is a 10,000 m² office complex located at Hoeilaart, in Brabant Flamand, some twelve or so kilometers to the south east of Brussels.

The property is thus located in the totally green environment of the Forêt de Soignes, where it has been totally refurbished by Immobel, who had acquired it in 2020. The workspace is now described as original and contemporary and responding to modern demands in terms of facilities: multi-functional work-café, shared leisure areas, meeting rooms… There are also a number of restaurants and other facilities within close proximity. In terms of access, Groenendael station is immediately alongside, offering direct access to a number of Brussels stations – including Luxembourg and Schuman in the heart of the European district. The travel time to Schuman is a little over a quarter of an hour.

Immobel was advised by Cushman & Wakefield in this transaction, with Urban Law acting for the buyer.
